Construction of a single-storey visitor centre housing a plant centre, gift shop, café, and toilet facilities. Externally there is a veranda providing an outside seating area for visitors. The new centre was designed to blend sympathetically with its surroundings.

Construction work comprised of excavations/trench fill foundations, masonry works, precast concrete plank floor, steel portal frame and roofworks, electrical installations, finishes, fittings and fixtures, external works and alterations to the existing road and car park.

Our Special Works team also completed an enabling works contract for a large kitchen in the building known as The Mansion.
