Museum of London

Complete revamp of the museum’s learning centre and theatre, with the installation of two new staircases and lifts, refurbishment of the main gallery’s glazing and courtyard, and the construction of the new City Gallery.
Through transforming parts of the main gallery, more display space was created alongside the new glazing, and courtyard. Through installing new staircases and lift we helped to reorganise the circulation flow around the museum. The new City Gallery includes a glass frontage that overlooks London Wall which enables passers by to see the magnificent Lord Mayors Coach. The new Learning Centre provides teaching space and an auditorium/theatre, this plays a central part in the Museum’s mission to develop further its educational outreach programmes.
