Refurbishing a beautiful building is always an exciting business, which is why we were so pleased to be awarded the contract at Heywood Manor, a Grade II Listed mansion in Cobham, Surrey. Our year-long contract was to convert the building into a new administrative headquarters for the ACS International Schools Group which involved a complete re-ordering of the interior and the installation of two passenger lifts, one specifically for disabled people.
We also constructed an impressive staircase with a glass balustrade and were responsible for internal redecoration and the renewing of all mains services.
Externally, we renewed stone balustrades, re-painted the windows and carried out repairs to the roof.
