The new Colyer Fergusson Concert Hall was handed over to the University of Kent and provides them with a music venue of the highest standard.
Two sets of retractable seating has been installed to allow maximum flexibility, from open flat floor to full choir and orchestra, as well as conference use. The hall benefits from an abundance of natural light from both large windows and a sky light. As well as a large hall the new building boats a welcoming open plan reception area that spans the length of the building, there are band and practice rooms with acoustic panels and heavily insulated walls to prevent sound escaping. Further facilities include classrooms, office and toilets.
