Refurbishment works were carried out at this Grade II Listed Church to convert it into a theatre for the Godolphin and Latymer School in London.
Work included the removal of asbestos from existing heating pipes along with the protection of the organ, windows, and joinery items within the church whilst the works were taking place. As part of the project we created a pit and removed the existing flooring within the Nave area which meant lowering it by 225mm to accommodate vostra seating/platforms (incorporating floor strengthening).
Two steel balconies with joinery balustrading and foldaway staircases were formed and extensive metalwork and structural steel beam supports within the Nave and Chancery areas were installed for theatre equipment.
